PACK EXPO 2026 Chicago Transportation Guide
PACK EXPO International runs October 18–21, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago. For a visiting sales team, exhibitor or executive group, the transportation plan starts before the first show-floor meeting: airport arrivals, hotel check-in, daily convention trips and client dinners all need to fit together.

Start with the right McCormick Place destination
The organizer lists McCormick Place at 2301 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL 60616. Opening-day exhibit hours on Sunday, October 18, are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Check the official PACK EXPO FAQ for the full schedule and updates before you travel.
Do not use the convention center's general address as your entire pickup instruction. Share the building, entrance or meeting location associated with your appointment, then confirm a permitted passenger pickup point with your transportation provider. A booth number helps your team plan its visit, but it does not establish where a vehicle can stop.
Combine airport arrivals into a workable group plan
For O'Hare or Midway pickups, send each flight number, arrival date, passenger count, hotel address and luggage requirements. Identify one group contact who can receive updates. If colleagues arrive on different flights, ask whether separate transfers or a coordinated pickup better fits the schedule; a shared ride should not assume every flight will land together.
A black SUV may suit a smaller executive party. An executive van or Sprinter may be a better option for a larger team, depending on seating and baggage needs. Mention presentation materials, oversized cases and accessibility requirements when requesting the quote so the appropriate arrangement can be confirmed.
Choose private service around the trips you actually need
PACK EXPO lists complimentary hotel shuttle service and other transportation options on its official transportation page. Review those routes and hours first. Private service can be useful when your hotel, meeting schedule, group requirements or evening plans need a different arrangement.
Compare a scheduled transfer with hourly service. A single hotel-to-show trip has different needs from a day that includes convention meetings, an off-site appointment and dinner. List every stop and expected waiting period. Do not assume a return trip, additional stop or vehicle waiting time is included unless it appears in the confirmed reservation.
Keep registration and dinner plans in the itinerary
Review the organizer's badge pickup information before deciding where your first ride should end. Allow room in the itinerary for registration, walking inside the venue and reaching your first appointment.
For client dinners, provide the restaurant address, reservation time and return destination. Ask each traveler to confirm whether they are returning to the same hotel. A single coordinator and an agreed meeting point can keep a group from splitting into several last-minute transportation requests.
